Iceland may be one of the more popular spots for photographers to see and shoot at these days but I now understand why. It’s absolutely incredible. Even in just a strip of the South Coast, there is so much diverse scenery to see. From huge waterfalls to rolling rocky hills covered in green moss to icebergs the size of cars, it’s got a bit of everything.
I met up with Allison + Cody while they were there documenting an elopement of their own. They’re super rad photographers. They were set to get married on April 1st in Nashville (congrats guys!) but wanted to say their vows to one another while they were in Iceland. I applaud them both for being so adventurous and down for anything. It was definitely pretty damn cold at some of the spots and they powered through it like champs.
We hit a ton of spots in such a short amount of time; my favorite being Glacier Lagoon. I’ve never seen anything like it and it was incredible just watching icebergs the size of cars float through the canal and into the ocean. Already looking forward to traveling back and making the drive around the entire country. A big thanks to Allison + Cody for letting me come along and document these moments for them. It was awesome getting to know them even better. Now onto the photos!
