Lauren + Edmond's wedding was one for the books! Lauren booked with me about a year before her wedding which was awesome as it allowed for plenty of time to get to know her and Edmond. We did their engagement session out in Joshua Tree which was amazing! Over the next year, Lauren ended up modeling for the shop my girlfriend and I own called September. We got to hang quite a few times and while we were shooting I would often talk to her about lighting and what was good lighting and was bad. I so appreciate her attentiveness to this because two weeks prior to her wedding we had a phone call as she was pretty concerned with how the lighting would be during the ceremony. We talked through it and after looking at some samples of other weddings there we decided to change the layout. Lauren & Leslie of Encore Event Design did such a good job making changes and totally reworking the whole space on such a short amount of time. It ended up working out so so well and gave me the most beautiful light for the ceremony. So future brides out there, always ask questions about lighting and ways to make it easier on your photographer. When it came to the wedding day, I was a little stressed. I knew we were working on a tight timeline because of there being no first look, a later ceremony and an early sunset time. I brought in my two friends, Derek & Trenton to help shoot what I wouldn't be able to. They absolutely crushed it and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you Lauren + Edmond for letting me document such a special day! Happy scrolling!
