Michelle + Ricardo's wedding was one for the books! This was my first time visiting San Miguel de Allende and wow, it did not disappoint. I got in pretty late in the evening so I didn't get to see much of the city on my drive in. I woke up early the next morning and met up with Michelle + Ricardo to take a hot air balloon ride over the city. It was incredible! It was my first time in a hot air balloon and while I was hoping I'd be able to snag some shots of Michelle + Ricardo in their balloon, we drifted too far apart haha. So just know they're hanging out in that other balloon, they're just super tiny. We grabbed breakfast at a local spot and chatted for awhile. Exactly how I would want every wedding to go. An adventure followed by food and some chill vibes.
The next morning I arrived to Casa Chorro where Michelle + Ricardo were staying along with most of their family. The wedding day was so relaxed and the venue was beautiful. If you ever are looking for a villa to rent in San Miguel, Casa Chorro is your spot! After the ceremony, Michelle + Ricardo led their family and friends through the city in a traditional San Miguel de Allende recessional parade with mojigangas. It was such a cool experience and the best part was I could location scout a bit while we were walking around for when we went out later to shoot portraits. The rest of the night was a blast and I can't thank Michelle + Ricardo enough for letting me be a part of it all. Enjoy!
